Brazil. Grupo Camargo de Comunicación, also known by the acronym GC2, is a broadcasting company based in Sao Paulo, from where it manages several of the most popular stations in the country, such as Radio Rock 89FM, Alpha Radio and Nativa FM in collaboration with Bandeirantes and Disney Brazil, as well as two television channels TV Guarulhos and TV Cotia.
From the beginning of the project, the company's technical management was clear about its commitment to AEQ technology, so that 5 AEQ CAPITOL IP consoles currently make up the heart of the company's ONAIR emissions system at its headquarters. AEQ CAPITOL was the natural choice for its robustness, simplicity of operation and final audio quality in the production of the programs.
AEQ CAPITOL IP is an 8-channel fixed configuration Digital Audio mixing console. At CAPITOL IP, the implementation of IP connectivity is based on a single module of 16 input channels and 16 output channels, incorporated into its core. One of the main qualities of AEQ CAPITOL IP is the wide input capacity available: 4 mic/line, 12 analog, 4 AES/EBU stereo digital (AES3), 2 USB stereo digital, 2 optional telephone lines, and optional digital multichannel audio links; 16 AoIP channels over two ethernet connectors or 64 MADI channels fiber optic input.
The entire project was coordinated by the head of studies at GC2 Roberto Cidade and the Technical Director Sergio Borsoi.
