Latin America. Vizrt announced a move that forms the most comprehensive single-vendor product portfolio in content creation. Since Vizrt's acquisition of NewTek in 2019, the organizations have focused on their respective broadcast and professional AV markets, operating largely separately under the Vizrt Group umbrella. But the broadcasting and professional AV markets are converging and the needs of customers and end users are changing.
"From transitioning to an IP-based infrastructure, monetization, audience grabbing, remote content production, driving remote collaboration, migrating to the cloud, focus on sustainability, security and skills gap: we found that our customers on both sides of the portfolio are evolving and often need to do more, with less. Now, Vizrt is a one-stop shop to back it all up," Michael Hallén, CEO of Vizrt.
To better serve their customers, who have become increasingly intertwined in recent years, Vizrt and NewTek have been working hard to unify and grow their customer service, support, university, R+D and product teams.
As a result of the last few years of investment, and to continue to provide innovative, user-centric software solutions to meet the changing needs of its customers and end users, Vizrt and NewTek are joining forces to become Vizrt.
New Partner Opportunities
Through the unified product ecosystem, all partners gain access to the entire portfolio to help them deliver new solutions and grow their businesses. Partners can become certified as experts through Vizrt's learning platform, Viz University, with new courses on studio, graphics, automation, live production, cloud, and more.
New products for end users
To better meet the needs of end users and customers, Vizrt will expand its product portfolio and launch a new entry-level video production system for streamers and content creators, and new live production systems in the cloud.
Vizrt's ambition is to support anyone who creates content with best-in-class storytelling solutions and a scalable portfolio of products, whether it's an individual, an educational institution, a corporate enterprise, a world-class broadcaster, or anything in between.
What about NDI and the Vizrt Group?
Announced earlier this year, NDI will remain an independent brand, but with the support of Vizrt as a key partner. Vizrt Group will now operate under the name Vizrt. Vizrt remains privately owned by Nordic Capital and its board of directors and leadership team remain unchanged.
