Latin America. Blackmagic Design's URSA Mini Pro 12K digital cinema model was recently added to the list of Netflix-approved cameras. Officially titled "Cameras and Image Capture: Requirements and Guidelines to Follow," this list lists the requirements necessary for a camera to be accepted by the streaming platform.
These include dynamic range, resolution, codecs, support for work dynamics, and more. Netflix requires that 90% of a show be filmed with company-approved cameras, which already include the URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 model.
The URSA Mini Pro 12K digital cinema camera includes a Super 35 sensor with a resolution of 12,288 x 6480 and a dynamic range of 14 stops. In addition, it allows recording at a frame rate of 60 f / s in 12K, at 80 MP per frame, and now has an optical low-pass filter. The new model is now available and is called URSA Mini Pro 12K OLPF.
