Argentina. "The event was a total success, we are convinced that it is the way", said Juan Uranga, Country Director of VHL - Knowledge & Technology, during the second edition of VHL Media Connect, in which the company presented the latest developments in the industry.
The meeting was held on May 11 at the offices that the company has in Buenos Aires and was attended by more than 200 attendees, who had access to different workshops, spaces for networking, TV set and demos of products for Broadcast, IT, Telecommunications, Data Center, Mobile, Internet and Audiovisual Media.
Uranga highlighted the great participation of customers and representatives of each of the brands. "During the day the room was always full in all presentations, and in the meeting area, the brands were in permanent contact with customers." In this way, BVS Media Connect is positioned as one of the reference events of the sector in the region.
ARRI, Dell, Evertz and Cisco are among the top brands that accompanied this edition of BVS Media Connect. Within the agenda of exhibitors were present, with great impact on the public, Federico Thierer, Principal Engineer Product Technologist of Dell Technologies; Francisco Roa, Sr. Sales Representative LATAM of Live U; Esteban Umana, Sales Representative LATAM of ARRI & ADF; Fernando Solanes, Sr. Director Solutions Engineering of Evertz; Carlos Pereiro, Service Presales Manager of VHL; Filipe Santos, Solution Architect at Synamedia; Diego Scillama, vice president of Harmonic's Latin American video business; Ezequiel Peralta, Presales Engineer Sr IV - Cisco Security Presales; Lucas Coudures Zenz, Senior Systems Engineers, Dell Technologies; Tor Johansen, product specialist for cinematography at Blackmagic and Octavio Mussi, Security SAC Lead at BVS.
"It is an event that allows us to meet again and represents an opportunity for customers, who can dialogue directly with specialists," explained Alberto Larraburu, Business Development Broadcast/Media Engineer LATAM of VHL.
In this sense, Larraburu said that during VHL Media Connect "attendees had the opportunity to know all the novelties presented in the recent edition of the NAB in a personalized way, something that does not happen in the events of greater magnitude".
