Latin America. The Spanish LED display company Alfalite and the Japanese manufacturer FOR-A, reached a strategic partnership that allows FOR-A to market the screens of the Spanish manufacturer in selected areas, but the intention is that it becomes a global agreement.
Alfalite, based in Huelva and the only European manufacturer of LED screens, has exclusive technologies that allow it to produce 1.9 mm pixel pitch panels with horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 175 °, and a very high brightness and chromatic fidelity. The panels can be incorporated into any size of LED wall, creating virtual production spaces and augmented reality ideal for Broadcast, corporate and educational applications.
"At FOR-A we always want to understand our customers' real requirements and find innovative ways to meet them," says Hiroaki Tanoue, Senior Managing Director of FOR-A. "We know our market is looking for a reliable way to get into virtual production and augmented reality, and they rely on FOR-A to help them overcome challenges. Having Alfalite on our side helps us support our customers in realizing their ambitions."
Although FOR-A is widely known as a manufacturer of a wide range of broadcast video products, its customers regularly ask it to provide complete systems in many markets around the world, and the ability to offer Alfalite LED displays expands this capability. Together with other technology partnerships, it means that FOR-A will be able to offer turnkey solutions in areas such as remote presence, virtual production and broadcast studios.
Luis Garrido, CEO of Alfalite, says: "We are especially proud that FOR-A has chosen Alfalite as its LED display technology partner. The two companies share similar cultures: a commitment to design, develop and manufacture products with quality assurance and reliability, and we are confident that this agreement will enhance FOR-A's offering to the market."
