Latin America. The German company Riedel Communications has a new sales representative for Central and Latin America. This is Benjamin Mariage, who will be in charge of the growth of the market in the region from Mexico.
Mariage will manage business development and sales growth at CALA, supporting customers, resellers and industry trade shows in the region with his extensive knowledge of Riedel's exceptional engineering.
"We are thrilled to have someone like Ben who has experience in both technology and the region," said Joyce Bente, president/CEO of Riedel Communications America. "Ben is not only well-versed in live production and broadcasting, he also fully understands and is passionate about the nuances of the region. He brings a wealth of knowledge and connections to help us reach the customers who need us at CALA."
While living in Latin America for the past 20 years, Mariage has worked extensively in the broadcast and live production industry, dealing with workflows for small and large broadcasters at CALA. After Riedel acquired Simplylive in September 2022, Mariage decided to continue her role at the new company as business development manager for LATAM while taking on the additional role of sales director. Prior to Simplylive, Ben spent more than 14 years at EVS as LATAM's vice president of sales.
"I am passionate about LATAM and love the challenge of this complex market," said Mariage. "I am delighted to join such a group of dedicated professionals. The Riedel brand is recognized for its state-of-the-art technology and it is an exciting and rewarding challenge to bring its solutions to the Central and Latin American region. Riedel products and Simplylive solutions provide an excellent set of tools that we look forward to rolling out to a wide variety of users in CALA."
Mariage will be based in Mexico and report to Joyce Bente.
