Latin America. Grass Valley has welcomed Rodrick Smith as its new Vice President of Sales in Latin America. Smith's appointment underscores Grass Valley's ongoing commitment to supporting the growth of the M&E industry across the region.
Smith joins Grass Valley with more than 16 years of sales leadership within the broadcast and cloud technology industry. Previously, Smith served as Sales Director at Evertz, where he spearheaded business development in Latin America and gained a deep understanding of the particular needs of the region. Subsequently, he held the position of account executive at Intel, where he worked exclusively in the cloud area, collaborating with cloud and SaaS service providers to drive performance improvements and cost efficiency.
Thanks to his exceptional expertise, Smith is prepared to help customers build the production model that best suits their needs, whether it's expanding their current technology or building a path to new operating platforms.
