Latin America. Dalet announced key new features available in Dalet Flex that support significant accessibility requirements, expanded language options, and camera data management capabilities.
Dalet Flex, the award-winning cloud-based media logistics solution, is used by media companies, brands and sports leagues such as Arsenal, Audi, National Rugby League, KCP, Migo and many others, to optimize OTT (over-the-top), archiving, cross-platform and production workflows that improve the flow of the content supply chain and maintain audience interest.
The latest version of Dalet Flex contains new tools and language support, which allow customers to manage, create and deliver content even more efficiently from its capture. It also adheres to the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, which facilitates the collaboration of everyone on any project, including those with disabilities.
Dalet Flex can be deployed via the cloud as well as on-premises. It can be hosted by Dalet or by the client as a focused, single-user implementation. Dalet Flex for teams, Dalet's multi-tenant SaaS solution, is hosted and managed by Dalet.
New Dalet Flex features that are now available include:
Greater accessibility
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines were developed in collaboration with people and organizations around the world, with the goal of providing a single shared standard for accessibility to content on the web. Dalet Flex is being adapted to meet the principles of the guidelines: perceptible, operable, understandable and robust. Improvements range from color adjustments for higher contrasts to aria tags that identify interactive elements of the page, to rearranging HTML elements and styles to make it easier to work with common elements like checkboxes.
Expanded language support
Users can easily switch from one language to another in the Dalet Flex interface, which allows customers to support their multilingual employees. Customers who need support in other languages should contact their Dalet support representative.
Camera data management
Integrated with Dalet AmberFin, Dalet Flex features an advanced camera card and extended clip management, providing more efficient and natural management of content coming from camera cards. Users can archive or restore an entire card in a single operation. Dalet AmberFin and Dalet Flex allow users to explore card assets and, for distributed media, capture basic information about each underlying file. The ability to manage camera card data will allow users in the field or on set to make content available to colleagues in a more efficient and organized manner.
