Chile. In 2018 a new company was opened in Chile that provides a 100% wholesale format for the audiovisual and broadcast industry. Almost 4 years later, MMT's balance is very positive.
Felipe Gamelli, representative of MMT, spoke with TVyVideo+Radio at the recent edition of the Tecomtel Congress, and recalled that the first brand they had in their portfolio was Tagima, of musical instruments, then came Shure, Bose, SCP, Mersive, Claypaky IK Multimedia, Liberty AV, until the most recent one that is Blackmagic Design.
He assured that the bet is to offer a complete service with local stock, to have an immediate response to the needs of customers, something that is essential at times when there are delays in the delivery of products from the factories.
"With the global situation, we had to see a different methodology of work. We always have a stock of three months and today we are planning nine months for the shortage, although we are trying to turn this wheel and reach the customer with the indicated dates, having a constant communication with the integrator. We expect this situation to be regulated in the first quarter of 2023," he explained.
On the Chilean market, he commented that it is variable, although "after the pandemic the market is beginning to reconsume things, it is returning to the tone we had before, but with more strength and with more expertise, there is more information and more technologies available."
MMT participated in the recent edition of the first Tecomtel Congress, an exhibition of audiovisual and broadcast technology. In this regard, the REPRESENTATIVE of MMT assured that the intention was to support its customers and present the latest technologies for different sectors.
Felipe Gamelli concluded that "What we seek as a company is to unify the brands and provide a complete solution and that everything talks in a union".
