Telestream
The remote media player can play any media file from anywhere. Designed for streaming engineering, operations, and post-production personnel who need to visually control files when they're away from media, GLIM plays master video files of any size and format directly in a browser on the fly without the need to generate a proxy.
The new GLIM release features a new user interface that puts video front and center of the user experience while surrounding content with audio VU meters and a new 'scalable' mini timeline with selectable overlays for GOP, SCTE 35 and 104 markers, and Nielsen watermark. Packed with keyboard shortcuts, the latest version of GLIM also features a technology preview of a new luminance waveform display with more range tools to follow in later versions.
It's worth noting that if GLIM is running on a commercial standard server (COTS), it supports up to five simultaneous playback sessions. A new turnkey GLIM hardware device running up to 15 simultaneous sessions thanks to powerful GPU acceleration is now available. GLIM can also run five sessions in an AWS EC2 environment.
