From October 31 to November 12, 2021, the global summit was held in Glasgow, United Kingdom, which aimed to seek agreements to face climate change, which included governments, representatives of large companies and environmental experts.
Within the framework of the agreements reached, a call was made for private companies of all sectors and sizes to look for ways to contribute to the fight against climate change. And this is an issue that in the broadcast industry has been gaining strength and relevance.
One of the main initiatives is the change from lighting to LED technology. Energy consumption and less polluting waste are just some of the results with just this change. But there are many more actions that can be taken.
The efficient use of all materials and production resources, power plants that do not generate environmental pollution, correct disposal of equipment that is no longer used, mobilizing people and equipment in less polluting vehicles, are just some small steps that can begin to be taken.
From TVyVideo+Radio we want to know and highlight the initiatives that in this sense are made in the industry in the region, please share your experiences on how they reduce the environmental footprint of the industry.
