Latin America. Telestream announced its new sales organization for the Latin American region to strengthen strong partnerships with broadcasters, production studios, streaming providers and resellers in this territory.
Consequently, José Calles was recently appointed Sales Director for market development for the company's broadcast business units in Latin America. Headquartered in Miami, Florida, Calles will manage sales of the Telestream-Vantage, TV-Tektronix, Content Management - DIVA/Masstech business units for all Latin American countries except Brazil. With more than 33 years of experience in the broadcast industry, Calles joins Telestream after working as a sales and project manager for Leitch, Harris, Grass Valley and, most recently, with Avid, where he received the highest recognition for his sales-oriented results and market developments.
In his new role, Juanchy Mejía will manage the sales efforts of Telestream's iQ business unit in close collaboration with service providers in the northern part of Latin America. Headquartered in Miami, Florida, Mejia, which has developed long-lasting relationships with end users and business partners over the years, will continue to build strong partnerships with media streaming providers and resellers in its territory.
From Brazil, Bruno Bellantuono will now manage all of Telestream's business units in his home country and also telecommunications companies and service providers in the southern part of Latin America. With vast experience in the world of telecommunications, Bruno also manages key accounts with multiple operations across the continent, such as Telefónica and Liberty Latin America. Their motivation is to truly understand customers' pain points and, with their dedication, find the best solution to ensure they deliver true business value to their organizations.
Calles, Mejía and Bellantuono report directly to Dale Poirier, vice president of Ca-La (Canada and Latin America), at Telestream.
