Latin America. Smartclip, a company specialized in the distribution of multiscreen video advertising, appointed Rodrigo Vieites as its new Commercial Director Latam. The executive will also continue in his position as General Director of Argentina with the challenge of continuing to grow in the local operation.
In his new role, Vieites will design and implement the business strategy for Smartclip's main clients in the region, being key his link and closeness with media agencies, with a focus on product, service and results.
The video and connectedTV business has been growing exponentially, placing Smartclip as the benchmark company in the industry, an expert in audience consolidation in multiscreen and multi-format online video.
Ángel Pascual, Regional Director Latam of Smartclip, said: "The video and connected TV industry is experiencing unlimited growth, the numbers show it. Advertisers are clear that consumers spend many hours in front of OTT platforms and choose them in conjunction with a very limited number of paid platforms, which implies that these platforms are in rapid expansion and that advertisers will increase their investment in omnichannel strategy and paid video. In that sense, we see a great opportunity for growth in LATAM and Rodrigo Vieites' experience gives us the support we need to achieve our objectives in the region," he concluded.
Since 2018, Vieites has held the position of Managing Director of Smartclip Argentina. With a long and solid background in the media industry he served as Country Manager at Global Mind, was CEO at Mediacom and Managing Director at Havas Media.
Vieites, has a degree in Advertising from John F. Kennedy University and a Master's Degree in Senior Management from IPADE Business School.
