Latin America. Brainstorm will present the latest versions of its solutions for the creation of virtual studios and 3D graphics in real time, according to José Rojano manager of AVTech Ltda and representatives of Brainstorm for Colombia.
In this edition Brainstorm will show important advances in the graphic capabilities of InfinitySet, the virtual studio solution. Now InfinitySet not only integrates perfectly the projects made in Aston, but now includes the complete set of graphic tools of this with which you can edit or even create from scratch any type of 2D or 3D graphic. Thanks to the revolutionary TrackFree™ technology and its TeleTransporter tool, InfinitySet allows you to use real, live or pre-recorded images as a background for the virtual set interchangeably.
"With this, Brainstorm further blurs the boundaries between the real and virtual worlds, allowing the presenter to enter any stage, at any time. This interaction is possible thanks to the 3D Presenter tool, which turns the presenter into a 3D object capable of interacting in the 3D environment as well as in the world of augmented reality, "said José Rojano.
Although the possibility of including the presenter in a virtual set is already in common use in the virtual environment, Brainstorm takes a step forward with the new VirtualGate functionality, capable of integrating the presenter not only in a virtual set but in other additional content at the same time, in the same scene. As a result of trackfree™ technology, VirtualGate allows you to teleport the presenter who is already in a virtual scenario to a new video in perfect harmony and continuity.
Brainstorm will also show VideoCave, a mixed reality feature that uses the screens of a real scenario to behave like a cave (CaveAutomatic Virtual Environment) of multiple windows, from which virtual objects can exit into the real scenario. Brainstorm accredits more than 15 years of successful experience in the development and installation of this type of systems, and TrackFree™ technology also allows the inclusion of augmented reality elements in the final scene from the camera perspective.
Integration with OculusRift and external render engines
Brainstorm will announce mixed reality hardware support such as OculusRift, and with this commitment to immersive technologies Brainstorm aspires to be a fundamental element in the new forms of domestic content consumption.
Brainstorm will show at NAB the integration of external render engines, especially some dedicated to games and architecture such as UnrealEngine. These complex engines provide realistic scenes, and combined with Brainstorm's rendering engine, they allow InfinitySet to not only provide excellent scenes for virtual backgrounds, rendered in a hyper-realistic way, but also integrate graphic elements into the final scene, such as 3D graphics, titling and much more.
Social Media Data Visualization with VisualMedia
Brainstorm and never.no will present a joint solution to provide visualization of data originating from social networks through real-time 3D graphics. This application is the result of the involvement of both companies in the VisualMedia project, framed in the Europe 2020 platform Horizon.InfinitySet and Aston benefit from Visualmedia, which allows them to represent in real time structured social media information using real-time 3D graphics fed by external data.
Template-based applications
Brainstorm has developed a wide range of solutions based on templates. All of them use the rendereStudio engine that ensures optimal graphic quality and spectacular real-time performance for all types of 3D graphics templates and virtual studios.
At NAB 2017 Brainstorm will launch SmartSet, a template-based broadcast solution, ideal for small and local television networks because it allows them to access virtual studio and augmented reality applications in a simple and affordable way. Template-based solutions such as SmartSet allow the issuance of content created from predefined or purpose-built templates using Brainstorm solutions, which make the application as complex as the template allows.
Integration with third-party hardware
Brainstorm will show its integration with external hardware such as FOR-A, NewTek or Blackmagic mixers. Brainstorm and FOR-A enjoy a long and fruitful relationship that has led to the development of different products and OEM solutions from which customers of both companies have benefited.
The company also supports NewTek's NetworkDevice Interface (NDI™) software-based workflow technology, and integrates it into its acclaimed InfinitySet family, which is accessible by other applications integrated with NDI and connected via Ethernet within a standard LAN. With BlackMagic, Brainstorm plans to launch a high-level integrated setup with the brand's mixers.
