Colombia. With the most votes, both the virtual ones that were added for 15 days, as well as the physical ones on July 31, the work Conectada a la vida, produced by Esteban Ruiz, was the winner of the first version of the TecnoTelevisión 2013 University Contest.
This student of the Colombian Polytechnic Jaime Isaza Cadavid, presented a work that had as a synopsis "In today's world that absorbs us completely and family ties tend to weaken more and more, a girl uses a traditional means of communication, the letter, to express his feelings to his absorbed and evicted mother. He remembers moments lived and even say goodbye to her."
Esteban Ruíz received as a prize a plaque that recognizes him as the winner of the First TecnoTelevisión University Contest, a professional 3D camera from Sony and training in Smoke from the Centro Atico of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
In addition, during the award ceremony of the Contest, Andrew Nelles, representative of Sony, decided that the five finalists were winners and that is why he gave each one the Sony Vegas editing software and so did the Atico Center, which expanded the training in Smoke to all the finalists.
It should be remembered that the five finalists were chosen by the three jurors of the Contest: Emilio Manjarrés, Camilo Vergara and Leonardo Ramírez, among a group of 30 postulated works.
The First TecnoTelevisión University Competition was organized by the magazine TV y Video, with the support of the Pontifical Bolivarian University and the Athletic Center of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
