Colombia. TecnoTelevisión continues to consolidate itself as the stage for actors related to television production to meet and strengthen. To the more than 1000 professionals registered to visit the commercial exhibition, the 20 scheduled conferences and the different exhibiting companies, the support of ASOTIC is now added.
Asotic – Association of Information and Communication Technology Operators in Colombia – sees in the show created especially for community channels an opportunity for growth for the entire sector and analysis of current realities.
As stated by the spokespersons of the organization, "events such as Tecnotelevisión provide learning opportunities on digital TV and also promise to create business and technological strategies, which are fundamental for our associates," they said.
An example of this is the free entry panel "Challenges and Plans for Community TV", which will bring together three renowned industry professionals; Fernando Rivera, President of the National Council of Community Television; William Galindo, Manager Viboral TV and Orlando Garcés, Political Coordinator of TV Comunitaria ANTV.
ASOTIC joins organizations such as NATPE, COMU TV, Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, AVA – Asociación de Audiovisuales, Videojuegos y Animación, CNTC – Consejo Nacional de Televisión Comunitaria, which have also expressed their support for the event.
