Latin America. Having a greater position in the American television industry is the goal of the Globecast company. Therefore, he appointed two new representatives for the region, one focused on the United States and another for Latin America.
Armando Parra serves as the new Account Manager for Latin America, based in Sunrise, Florida. His experience includes his time at Claxson Networks, nuvoTV and Playboy Enterprises. It will be tasked with developing solutions for broadcasters across the region.
For his part, Ted Carr has joined the company as Account Manager for North America, working with permanent and ad-hoc accounts. Carr has fifteen years of experience providing specialized media content solutions and systems integration services, most recently at Evertz Microsystems. It is based in the city of Culver, California.
This new team is complemented by Bert Quesada, who joined GlobeCast Americas as director of contribution services. It will provide complex solutions for broadcasters covering news, sports and special events in North and Latin America. Quesada most recently worked at Intelsat, where he was Director of Sales and Manager of Broadcast Services for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Lisa Coelho, CEO of GlobeCast Americas, said: "In today's broadcast world, solution providers like GlobeCast can no longer sell products in one box. Broadcasters need relationships with their partners that help them monetize their content through platforms. They will provide the attention and personalization that this new environment requires."
