Latin America. In a globalized world, undertaking an audiovisual project today requires not only having an idea and a lot of desire, but also having the best in technology to offer quality work. And this is the case of Global Eyes Productions and its director Josephine Landertinger.
She assures that her project, which was materialized last October, is the result of her life experience: her mother is Colombian, lived as a child in South Africa during apartheid and studied in Germany, in addition to passing through other countries. That is why he defined human rights and migration as the main focus of his documentaries and films.
"From the age of 15 I knew I wanted to dedicate myself to cinema. That's why at the age of 18 I went to study film in Berlin and I was able to do an internship in film and television, then I was for four years director of the audiovisual area of a company. This experience has allowed me to have good technological bases to provide the best quality in my productions, "said Josephine Landertinger.
He says that for the decisions related to the production teams for his documentaries and films, he always looks for those that allow him to have the best technology to offer the best image quality, versatility and maneuverability for field work and an affordable budget for the realities of a new company.
"In the case of the last camera, I chose a Sony FS700, because its interchangeable lenses will allow me to face the different scenarios, agility and have the latest technology because if in the future I want to record in 4K, I will be able to do it with this equipment. It was a decision made taking into account all the characteristics and with advice from industry experts," he said.
Thanks to the travels of its director, Global Eyes Productions has offices in Germany and Colombia, and is able to offer services in five languages. The work on which Josephine Landertinger is currently concentrated is a documentary about the old age of the immigrant, in which his difficulties will be evidenced through three stories. In this project he is linking interactive tools in the development of the documentary.
