Between 6 and 11 September a new version of the IBC will take place in the Netherlands, a fair that is a benchmark for the television industry in Europe. TV AND VIDEO will be present.
In the epicenter of television in Europe, the place where you can learn about the latest technological developments as well as the analysis of what is coming in the near future within this increasingly changing industry, has become the IBC, a fair that takes place annually in the Netherlands.
In its 2012 version, the European fair will have the presence of 1,300 brands that will be distributed in 14 thematic rooms divided into creation, administration and transmission of content in the RAI Amsterdan. In addition, it will have a large agenda of conferences that will address topics such as technologies and new approaches.
This year there will be six days of conferences in which prominent speakers will be present, such as the CEOs and executives of well-known companies, including Discovery, BSkyB, Samsung Shazam, and Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide.
For its part, and as is tradition, in the exhibition you will be able to know the main technologies that facilitate the work of the television industry through live presentations of the products and solutions, as well as practical sessions.
Also, in the Future Zone you will be able to know the concepts that are being developed in research laboratories around the world, among which are a panoramic video camera with a round shape virtual sets.
This space is where the main research documents on the television industry are presented, which are chosen after a process in the IBC Committee of technical documents, a section that is a fundamental part of the fair.
In accordance with the use of the latest technologies, one of the main novelties that the IBC will have for all attendees is the application for mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones, called IBC2012.
Through this application, you can consult all the data and news of the fair, such as the list of exhibitors, with their room number and product category, as well as contact and arrange appointments with them, because among their data they can find their telephone number and email.
The application will also have all the information about the conferences, such as schedules, rooms, speaker, topics, which can be included directly in the phone book.
In addition, on Sunday, the ninth of September, the IBC Awards will be presented. This year, the International Excellence Award will go to NHK for its 80 years of work in the industry. And for the Innovation award are nominated Nascar, Turner Sports, Channel 4 and Sky News Arabia.
