A few months ago I wrote about the arrival of Nextflix, the internet, smartphones and other devices that allow you to watch videos and TV... and today we will touch on that point again but from a personal experience.
In January 2012 I tried Netflix and although it is not as good as I think the American is, there are many series and movies that one wants to see again or others that you never saw and there you have them.
Netflix is on my devices with an internet connection and on the wii, and if I'm honest I've spent whole nights watching series and movies from this video platform than watching national television or cable operator.
However, we put interactive television at home to see which was better and without a doubt and it pains me not to support the company in my country, but I prefer Netflix to the interactive television service of the cable operator.
First, renting a movie with the interactive program is worth $3.3 and they're not the best releases or the best repertoire, with Netflix paying $7.7 per month.
Second, the rent of the movies is paid in addition to conventional television and the value of these is according to the number of movies we rent, while Netflix lets me watch unlimited series and movies and repeat them as many times as I want for the same monthly price.
And third, zapping with interactive television is impossible. So in this way I tell them that I prefer to use my electronic devices connected to the internet to watch the series, novels or movies that I want there and not for the TV.
Faced with this situation, I ask myself, will it be only me who wants to do this? If there are many more people, then what is going to happen to conventional TV? We know that the youngest now prefer to see everything on PC and little by little the others are migrating.
I wanted to share my situation with you, maybe many will share it and others will differ from it... so I invite you to write to me [email protected] and tell me what you think.
